Betrayed

The new king is crowned at Edinburgh, but enemies surround him. Will he be strong enough to stand against England, or doomed to fail and send his kingdom and his country down a dark and dangerous path? James Fraser, known as the Fox, by the hand of fate is the new chieftain of Clan Fraser. The clans gather at Edinburgh to pledge their loyalty to the new king, but James' path has always been loyalty to his country, not to an overlord. Now the ambitions of others force her into another unwanted marriage with the new chieftain of Clan Fraser. Cruelly treated by her first husband, she becomes an unwitting pawn in the struggle for power over the clan.
